what our guarantee covers
This guarantee protects you from any failure caused by defects in materials or craftsmanship for as long as you own the product. That includes:
- Defects in materials for the entire life of the product
- Defects in craftsmanship (hand stitching, machine stitching, gluing, folding, edging)
- Hardware failures (buckles, snaps, rivets, eyelets, Chicago screws, metal rings)
- Stitching unraveling, breaking, or separating prematurely
- Leather tearing or ripping under normal use
- Handle or strap attachments coming loose
- Products arriving with unnoticed defects that appear shortly after use
- Mis-set rivets or crooked hardware placement
- Failure of internal reinforcement materials
- Binding or bending points wearing out far faster than expected
If a defect is caused by the way the product was made, the materials used, or the construction itself — you’re covered.
What Our Guarantee Does NOT Cover
Leather is a natural material, and every product will develop character and patina over time. The following are not considered defects and are not covered by the guarantee:
normal wear and tear
- Patina development or color changes
- Scratches, scuffs, dents, creasing, or marks from regular use
- Edge darkening or softening
- Leather stretching naturally over time
- Belt holes expanding slightly with repeated use
- Stains from skin oils, lotions, sweat, or body contact
- Fading from sun exposure
- Stitching wear from long-term friction
- Minor cosmetic imperfections that do not affect function
damage from misuse or abuse
- Water damage, soaking, mold, or mildew
- Chemical exposure (cleaners, alcohol, oils, solvents)
- Freezing or hardening from extreme cold
- Damage from pets chewing or scratching
- Knife cuts, punctures, or tears caused by improper use
- Overloading card slots or wallets beyond intended capacity
- Using belts as tools (tie-down straps, tow straps, harnesses, clamps, etc.)
- Any use outside of the product’s intended purpose
Accidents & External Damage
- Fire damage
- Car door or seatbelt pinching
- Machine damage (washers, dryers, conveyors)
- Damage caused by other accessories
- Loss or theft
- Damage caused by children
- Damage during travel or shipping not performed by us
Improper Care
- Using non-leather-safe cleaners (Windex, soap, oils, alcohol, etc.)
- Using waterproofing sprays or waxes not meant for full-grain leather
- Leaving leather bent sharply for long periods
Alterations & Third-Party Work
(These will not void the warranty entirely, but damage caused by them is not covered.)
- Any modification after purchase
- Unauthorized repairs
- Third-party belt resizing
- Incorrectly punched holes
- Custom engraving done after purchase
- Re-dying or refinishing leather
- Changing hardware yourself

- Products purchased secondhand
- Vintage or discontinued items purchased used
- Items with no verifiable proof of purchase
- Damage to packaging or accessories
- Color variations between dye batches
- Damage to foam inserts or gift packaging
- Failure of non-leather accessories included with product
who is covered
- The original purchaser
- Anyone who received the product as a gift (with proof of purchase)
- Customers who can provide order number, receipt, email confirmation, or account lookup
How to File a Warranty Claim
We’ve made the process straightforward. To submit a claim, please provide:
- Photos of the product
- Photos of the defect
- Short explanation of what happened
- Full name and contact details
- Proof of purchase (receipt, email, order number)
- Video of the issue (if possible)
- Your shipping address
- Approximate amount of time the product has been used
Review Process
- Claims are reviewed within 24–72 hours
- We may request additional information if needed
- We reserve the right to deny claims that do not meet warranty criteria
- We may repair instead of replace when appropriate
- If repair or identical replacement is not possible, store credit or a comparable product may be offered
- Discontinued items may be replaced with the closest current version
Shipping & Logistics
- Customer pays for shipping the item to us for inspection or repair
- We pay to ship the repaired or replaced item back to you
- Repairs typically take 1–3 weeks
- Replacements are sent once the item is received and approved
- Customers are responsible for proper packaging when returning the product
If Your Claim Is Approved
- We repair the item if possible
- If repair isn’t possible, we replace it
- Replacement may be the same color or the closest available
- Discontinued products may be replaced with the most comparable item
- No cash refunds are issued for warranty claims
- Warranty does not reset after repair or replacement
- You will be notified when your product ships back
- We may provide care recommendations to prevent repeat issues
Relationship to Our Return Policy
- This guarantee applies after the normal return window has ended
- Our return policy covers unused products within the standard timeframe
- Warranty covers used products with qualifying defects
- Warranty cannot be used for preference changes (style, size, color, etc.)
- Exchanges follow the standard return policy, not the warranty
- Warranty claims do not replace or override normal return rules
- Return shipping rules differ from warranty shipping rules
- Used items cannot be returned, but can be covered under warranty if defective
- Clearance or final-sale items are not eligible for this guarantee
